The second part of my tour to the DMZ took us to Imjingak, a park that is home to a number of monuments that are related to the conflict between North and South Korea. Unlike Panmunjeom or the DMZ, there aren't any checkpoints to pass through before entering, and no passport is needed. So, if you are interested in seeing some monuments relating to the conflict without the high security or high risk, Imjingak would be the place to go.

What do you look for in a travel partner?

I think finding a travel partner is quite similar to finding a life partner because when you travel, you're going to be spending a LOT of time with your travel partner. You will go through challenges that you won't normally have to go through when you are at home. Your travel partner will also see you at your worst (exhausted, a bit stressed, and maybe even a little smelly from not having showered for a while!), but you will also share some amazing experiences together.
